Description
Western horses have a compact, muscular build and are good at remaining calm, even in stressful situations such as competitions. They therefore need feed that reflects their very individual needs.
This recipe contains a moderate grain content, plenty of fibre and selected cereal germs in combination with essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine.
Tailored to your horse's physique:
Breeds such as Quarter Horses and Appaloosas have more muscle mass in relation to body weight than other horse breeds. It is therefore particularly important to ensure that their feed contains the nutrients their muscles need.
NutriStar has been developed to exactly meet the energy needs of these breeds through high-quality proteins, fermentable pectins, oleiferous fruits, and oils.
Details at a glance:
- High-quality proteins
- Energy supply based on fermentable pectins, oleiferous fruits and oils
- Low levels of easily digestible carbohydrates
- Antioxidants such as vitamins, trace elements and secondary plant compounds
Its focus on muscles makes the recipe excellent for young horses of all breeds during the muscle-building phase.
Feeding recommendation:
- As a supplement to the basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass.
- From a quantity of approx. 300-600 g per 100 kg body weight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary.
- The total amount should be offered over several rations.
- When giving a smaller amount or in the case of deficits, the manufacturer recommends the addition of SemperMin or MicroVital.
- 1 litre corresponds to 600 g
Feeding instructions:
- This supplementary feed may make up 54.6% of your horse's daily ration (incl. hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
- Please follow the feeding recommendation.
