This muesli, specially designed for the needs of old and difficult-to-feed horses, takes into account the increased need for essential amino acids, zinc, selenium and vitamins. Soybeans, linseed, apple pomace, corn and barley are the basis for the high nutrient content. To support muscle and weight maintenance and provide relief to the gastrointestinal tract, the formulation is enriched with probiotic live yeast which support the beneficial bacteria in the colon.
Feeding recommendation:
When used as the sole crib food for hay ration:
Depending on the intensity of work, approx. 150-500 g per 100 kg of body weight per day to cover energy requirements.
- In case of dental problems or limited chewing function, Josera Senior can be fed after soaking (always prepare fresh for every feed).
- Around 2 kg per day is sufficient to cover the vitamin and mineral requirements of a large horse.
- For smaller feeding amounts, supplementation with Joker Mineral or Kraut & Rüben Mineral - Flax & Fibre Mineral.
1 litre of Josera Senior corresponds to around 520 g.
