Prepare horses for worming

Since horses are often treated using chemical worming treatments, parasites can become resistant to the chemicals used. For this reason, it is important to try to treat the causes of worms through nutrition. Numerous special herbs and roots have been used for this purpose for centuries. These natural measures cannot be used to replace treatment for worms but can definitely support prevention.

Less attractive to flying insects

A horse's body odour and the pH value of their skin can be changed via their nutrition to make them less attractive to flying vermin. This is especially important during warm times of the year when your horse sweats a lot, as sweat tends to remove spray on insect repellent.

When to use this supplement?

No. 13 Siegfried is a pure herbal preparation that includes herbs from around the world. It is recommended as a supportive supplement for horses with worms.

The No. 13 Siegfried can also be used during seasons when exposure to ticks or flying insects is high as these nuisances do not like the scent the supplement gives your horse's sweat. Siegfried can be used all summer long or only when needed.

Tip:

Horses that are properly fed has a different scent than malnourished or stressed horses. Bugs prefer a sour, rather unpleasant smell.

Feeding recommendation:

• Feed 20-40g (2 to 4 measuring spoons full), use less for small horses
