Description
With Pro Digest, Horslyx is taking a path against stomach problems in horses. Together with a balanced forage management, Horslyx Pro Digest focuses on preventing instead of curing.
In addition to the well-known balanced mix of nutrients, Horslyx Pro Digest contains ground seaweed and portions of elm bark. The seaweed has a buffering effect in the large intestine and thus, together with the saliva which is rich in bicarbonates and which is formed when licking the lick bowls, helps to avoid over-acidification.
A prebiotic is mixed in, which supports beneficial intestinal bacteria, as well as a probiotic live yeast, which, together with a slightly increased magnesium content, ensures that the intestine does not become too acidic.
The bottom line is that a horse can only be healthy if its stomach and intestines are also healthy and in balance. Nutrient turnover and thus motivation and vitality depend crucially on a healthy and balanced intestinal flora.
