Description
Magnesium is probably one of the most important nutrients. It supports the nervous system, muscles, heart and blood vessels. Young horses, for instance, need more magnesium as their bones are still developing. Also, magnesium requirements increase during periods of intensive training.
Feeding recommendation:
- One 15 ml measuring spoon corresponds to about 14 g and contains about 4200 mg magnesium
- A horse weighing 500 kg requires approximately the following amount of magnesium per day:
