There are different reasons why a horse might be on a low-starch and low-sugar feed. Among other things, starch and sugar reduction may be indispensable in the case of grain intolerance, a tendency to hyperacidity, a sensitive stomach or metabolic and muscle problems.

RiceLein is a supplementary feed with a low-glycemic composition of carefully selected ingredients, such as rice bran, warm air-dried grass chaff, linseed and sunflower seeds. The low grain and starch formula has a high energy density, is not additionally mineralised and is ideal to combine with the basic feed.

Recommended:

• For horses with muscle problems, such as PSSM, tying up and cross-stitch.
• For sport horses that are already fed large amounts of cereal-based concentrates
• For gentle refeeding of lean horses
• For horses sensitive to cereals
• For feeding horses with PPID (Equine Cushing Syndrome).

Feeding recommendation:
Depending on performance, approx. 200 - 300g per 100kg bodyweight and day.
(1 litre corresponds to approx. 670g)
