St.Hippolyt Hesta Mix Muesli, 20 kg

Special breeds, ponies or particularly light-work horses often are provided with enough energy with a small amount of concentrated feed. Their concentrated feed may not have enough minerals in it to compensate for deficiencies, though. Deficiencies can be observed in lethargy, nervousness, allergies or digestive issues.

The Hesta Mix is rich in bioavailable, high-quality nutrients. The organically bound trace elements are easily absorbed in the intestines. Valuable oils from flaxseeds, corn germ, grape seeds and black cumin seeds provide polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic, alpha and gamma-linolenic acid.

• For regularly worked horses with average concentrated feed requirements
• For light-work or light-feeding horses
• For larger breeds such as Andalusians, Lusitanos, cold-blooded horses, Arabians, Irish cobs or Friesians

Feeding recommendation:

• Use as a supplement to the basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass.
• From a quantity of approx. 200-300 g per 100 kg body weight/day, no additional mineral feed is necessary.
• 1 litre corresponds to approx. 600 g.
• The total amount should be distributed over several rations over the course of the day.
• For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with teeth, chewing or throat problems, it is recommended to add water to the mix.
• For lower doses or for addressing deficits, adding SemperMin or MicroVital can be useful.

Feeding instructions:
This supplementary feed should only be used for 35.7% of your horse's daily ration (including hay) due to the higher contents of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
