Superb reward and help in training
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
We use st. Hippolyte lobs for all kinds of rewarding + play. Doesn't matter if we are riding, saddling, just relaxing or want to be a nice friend with our horses, we use lobs. They are excellent additional feed, for they are of good ingredients, and taste good. Even the dogs around the stables like these and eat them with good appetite.
As I give my horses a lot of goodies, I also decide,.when not to give them, to avoid problems. Though I see no problem in a horse nicely asking for a reward as I also link it with verbal appraisal, and can thus use verbal feedback to reward my horses.
I also always feed our horses with a good mash (10+ litres) before anything else, as the goodies slightly suck water in them and you don't want your horse to get colic. But if you use a handful of goodies, it's no problem. Only, we give our horses several handfuls... Anyway, a super-treat!!! I would not use anything else.
