In winter or when the horses don't get to graze often, they often lack essential oils and herbs. They area also more at risk for inhaling dust when they are primarily housed in a stable.
The Herbal Muesli by Nature's Best is particularly low in dust and is very tasty. It contains essential oils and herbs that contain mucilage. The muesli can be fed to horses with sensitive airways.
Feeding recommendation:
Light feed horses / ponies
- Maintenance requirement 0.4-0.7 kg
- Light work 0.7-1.0 kg
- Average work 1.0-2.0 kg
Special breeds
- Maintenance requirement 0.7-1.0 kg
- Light work 1.0-1.5 kg
- Medium work 1.5-2.5 kg
Horses
- Maintenance requirement 0.8-1.2 kg
- Light work 1.2-2.0 kg
- Medium work 2.0-3.0 kg
