The Pur.Senior is made with a lower carbohydrate content, making it perfect for horses with sensitive metabolisms. The recipe is also adapted to the nutritional needs of older horses. The muesli contains high-quality amino acids as well as readily available minerals like zinc, copper, selenium, manganese, cobalt and magnesium. This combination of nutrients is perfect for older horses as it has a lower energy content that matches their lifestyles.
Pur.Senior is also a tasty alternative for horses with dental problems, as it can easily be softened with water.
Feeding recommendation:
- Feed per 100 kg of body weight
- Low energy needs: 150g
- Light energy needs: 300g
- Thin horses: 450g
Notes:
- Make sure your horse has plenty of fresh water available to drink.
- Make sure this water is not too cold.
- Please soak the feed before using it for old horses or horses with dental problems.
