Description
Muesli is an ideal supplement for horses that receive hay or straw as basic feed. The mixture of flaked grain components is easy to digest and helps provide horses with the energy and nutrients they need. It's optimised with important vitamins to compensate for any deficits in the basic feed. Elité Grain Flakes can also be used to supplement oats (ponies, etc.).
Feeding recommendation:
1.2-1.5 kg of hay per 100 kg of live weight daily.
Supplementing with Elité Grain Flakes: Divide into 3-4 meals per day.
- Small horses 0.5-1.5kg
- Large horses 1.0-2.5kg
- High performance horses 2.0-4.0kg
When using less than 2kg grain flakes, we recommend feeding with 50g Elité Mineral Pellet to cover the vitamin and trace element requirements.
