Eggersmann EMH Hay Cubes, 20 kg

EMH hay cubes can be used to completely replace hay, especially for old horses or horses with dental problems. The EMH hay cubes can also be easily mixed with medication or mineral concentrates. The hay cubes are produced under strict quality controls of both the cultivation of the raw materials and the processing conditions. Contract cultivation guarantees gentle harvesting and processing methods as well as optimal grass quality. As a result of regularly tested soil samples, the fields used to grow the raw materials are systematically supplemented with nutrients, making sure that the hay contains the ingredients your horse needs.

No excessive fertiliser is used to grow the herbs in these cubes. The herbs selected for the mix are diverse and are encouraged to grow using a fertiliser that best suits them. The hay fibres are upgraded with Eggersmann MikroHerbs (EMH) to provide targeted support for fibre digestion and improve how well the nutrients can be absorbed by the horse's body.

In the interests of sustainability and the conservation of fossil resources, the grass for the EMH Heu Cubes is not artificially dried but are dried using a natural, CO2-neutral drying process - using the light and warmth of the sun. Due to their rough structure, the EMH hay cubes absorb more water than conventional hay cobs and swell to about four times their size when soaked. Even after soaking, the cubes still have a light consistency.

Feeding recommendation:

• 1 kg of EMH hay cubes replaces 1 kg of hay. Due to the high swelling capacity, the EMH hay cubes must be soaked before feeding. For each meal, use a ratio of 1-2 times water to hay cubes and soak for at least 15 minutes.
