Dr. Weyrauch Wundersam Seed Mix, 5 kg

This mix of whole flax seeds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, fennel seeds, and ground caraway seeds helps you to enrich your horse's feed in a natural way. Important oil and protein components contain valuable fatty acids and amino acids.

The individual components in detail:

Flaxseeds:

• Provide a high proportion (56%) of omega-3 fatty acids
• Are high in valuable mucilages that adhere to the sensitive gastric and intestinal mucosa
• The mucilages are composed of the sugars xylose, galactose, and galacturonic acid
• Support normal digestion
• Are rich in lecithin, a component of the cell membranes found in animals & plants

Sunflower seeds:

• Are particularly rich in crude fibre and are high in methionine (4g/kg)
• Have a considerable oil content
• Sunflower seed oil contains an excellent combination of polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E

Hemp seeds:

• Contain a balanced ratio of alpha- and gamma-linolenic acid

Fennel seeds:

• Are also used as seasoning in bread
• Can help support digestion

Feeding recommendation:
200-300 g per day.

Wundersam is grain-free and extremely low in starch. It can be used as a basis for mash (combined with wheat bran) or eaten dry, for example together with oats. Wundersam is also a healthy addition to conventional muesli feed, increasing fat and protein content.
