Description

German: Nr. 8 Ureavital

Frightfulness, swollen legs or a peculiarly sweet, urea-like smell to your horse's coat, and muscle stiffness are just a few features that can indicate a detoxification disorder or kidney problems.

Changing your horse's diet is important in these situations. You should reduce the amount of protein in their diet by significantly reducing the amount of pasture grass they eat, partially replacing hay with straw, and increasing oil feed while decreasing grain feed. Beet pulp is particularly low in protein.

Choose the right herbs

In the natural world, a horse can independently upgrade its rations with herbs that are rich in saponin. Saponins are carbohydrate-like secondary plant substance that usually taste extremely bitter. Horses love this bitter taste. These bitter substances support kidney function and promote cleansing in the body.

The No. 8 Ureavital contains a herbal mixture that has proven particularly useful for older horses and to support convalescence.

Feeding recommendation:

  • Feed 8 to 16 g (1 to 2 measuring spoons full) per horse per day
  • Please note that pure herbal preparations are not a substitute for the minerals your horse needs. Please combine this product sensibly with one of our mineral specialties such as No. 1, No. 4, No. 19 or No. 21.
  • Leave a gap of 48 hours before competitions.
