Description
German packaging: Kristall Mash
This mash captivates with its exquisite ingredients such as linseeds, high-quality herbs and Persian blue salt. The mash supports a healthy stomach and healthy digestion, a shiny coat and more well-being.
Feeding mash to horses has been historically documented. Horses were often provided with this wonderful warm meal, when colic threatened, the horses were exhausted, or they were no longer hungry. The mash contains linseed and wheat bran.
Today, mash is usually offered after colic, surgery, childbirth or a busy day at a competition. Feeding your horse a linseed-rich mash is highly recommended for cases of stomach ulcers. Mash can be used once a day to help with a tendency for stomach ulcers, when the weather changes and to improve the digestive situation in general.
Highly effective ingredients
Flaxseed is an oleaginous fruit with an extremely high content of omega-3 fatty acids. For mash, flaxseed has mucus-forming factors and supports lining the sensitive gastric and intestinal mucous membranes. The mucilage is composed of xylose, galactose and galacturonic acid have been a great helper for digestive problems for thousands of years.
Wheat bran is considered very tasty and provides crude fibre in the form of the polysaccharide pectin, which is made up of pentoses and galacturonic acid. The latter is involved in the breakdown of heavy metals and in the binding of toxic microorganisms in the intestine. The pectins themselves improve the elimination of bile acids and are considered prebiotics.
High quality oats not only improve the taste. The partially water-soluble ß-glucans (oat glucan) contained in the oats are efficient slime formers. They make oats an effective food for stomach and intestinal diseases and also improve the flow of bile.
Tasty and pure
Persian blue salt is a salt variety that comes from Iraq. It is one of the rare rock salts and is coloured by an optical effect that is due to a crystal lattice shift, through which the light refracts in such a way that it appears blue. It has a unique taste.
The herbs and spices in the crystal mash are selected for their digestive effects and also adjusted to the seasons.
The traditional preparation is based on linseeds and wheat bran and also includes oatmeal to improve the taste as well as a proven, digestive-harmonising herbal recipe. The mash is slightly mineralised with Persian blue salt. The mash is guaranteed free of flavourings, preservatives, sweeteners or added essential oils and is therefore very well suited for horses with sensitive stomaches or digestive tracts, or horses with weakened immune systems or sensitive livers. It contains 19% starch. Kristall Mash is sugar-free, is made by hand and serves as a natural source of phosphorus.
Feeding recommendation:
