Description
Due to their high omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid content, chia seeds are a recommended addition to the daily feed and can contribute nutritionally to a shiny coat as well as the maintenance of healthy joint and connective tissue function. Due to the low sugar content in chia, the product can also be fed to pregnant mares as well as ponies and horses that are prone to laminitis. The high proportion of dietary fibre promotes intestinal function and the digestive process, which is why the feed is also recommended as nutritional support for horses with gastric ulcers, metabolic syndrome and gastrointestinal disorders.

Chia Seeds
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Item arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Packaging is strong enough to stop mice eating through it, (kinda plastic like)
Wanted to get specific chia seeds for horses as I wasn't sure if the ones in the shops would be suitable for horses.
Gave my horse these to stop her getting runny and stop fecal water. I previously used chia treats and found they worked really well, decided to try it on a daily basis. From @3-4 these worked. I use only a tablespoon a day. Will be buying again.
