Description
The MAX-Control Pelham is a double-jointed bit that locks at a certain angle and has a similar effect to a bar bit.
The advantage over the rigid bar bit is the gentle and soft action. Only a stronger hand leads to an intensive effect, which ends immediately when the horse gives way.
The pelham supports effective aids through a targeted effect on the tongue, neck and lower jaw. Its leverage can be varied depending on how it is buckled. Can also be used with a Pelham strap. Ideal for more precise work with strong and impetuous horses.
- For higher levels of training, it is recommended to use two pairs of reins.
- A chin chain pad is also recommended to protect the lower jaw
